The story revolves around Park Joo-Hyung (played by Song Joong-Ki) who was adopted by Don Fabio, the head of Cassano mafia family. Later on, he was renamed as Vincenzo Cassano, working as Italian lawyer and consigliere. After his step-father dies, the biological son of Don Fabio tries to kill Vincenzo. So Vincenzo fled back to Seoul and sets out to recover 1.5 tons of gold whose owner that intentionally hid this treasure has recently died of heart attack.

Vincenzo is a dark comedy drama that revolves about corrupt values, justice, mafia and how they deal about business and revenge.

Vincenzo drama series ranked fourth in the first-broadcast ratings of tvN dramas while the finale received 14.6% making it one of the highest-rated drama in Korean cable television history. It also made the series the 6th highest-rated drama in tvN history.

3. Mine (2021)

The story revolves around two women who married each sons of HyoWon Group, a multi-billion won company. Though they are rich and successful in their own rights, they struggle to find their place in the wealthy family they married into.

In every aspect, the luxury of being part of a wealthy family is displayed in this drama. 4. It’s OK To Not Be OK (2020)

The story revolves around the emotional healing with a touch of romantic journey of a successful children’s book writer Ko Moon-Young (played by Seo Yea-Ji), a nurse in psychiatric hospital named Moon Gang-Tae (played by Kim-Soo Hyun) with his autistic older brother Moon Sang-Tae (played by Oh Jung-Se). This unique drama balances romance, family and mild horror in a fairy-tale distinction.

It’s OK Not to Be OK has been rated by New York Times as one of “The Best International Shows of 2020” and at 57th Baeksang Arts Awards, it got eight nominations and two wins.

5. Crash Landing On You (2019)

The story revolves around Yoon Se-Ri (played by Son Ye-Jin) trying to get back to South Korea when her paragliding was caught in a sudden tornado, sending her off to North Korea Demilitarize Zone and Captain Ri Jeong-Hyeok (played by Hyun Bin) who found her in front of his house after Se-Ri escaped from Captain Ri’s patrol officers. Over time, they fell in love despite the divide and dispute of their respective countries.

Both of the main actor Hyun Bin and actress Son Ye-Jin continued to keep their fans on their toes as they announced that they are officially dating (and they are still until today).

Crash Landing On You is the highest rated tvN drama and the third highest-rated South Korean TV drama in cable television history.
