Natsuo unwilling to forgive his father, Enji

Midoriya and Bakugo did not know that Shoto had a younger brother named Toya. Fuyumi says Natsuo and Toya were very close and used to play together. But after their mother was hospitalized, things got worse with the Todoroki family. Although things are looking better now with Shoto visiting their mother again, Natsuo is still unwilling to forgive their father because he thinks Enji was the reason Toya died.

Obsessed Villain hostages Natsuo

A flashback years ago, a villain was watching the news as they feature Endeavor. His first impression of Endeavor was inferno of scorching red flame. He became this villain’s idol and beacon of hope to end his life. Seven years after, this same villain was also caught by Endeavor was put into prison.

In the present day, the first thing the villain did when he came out of prison after ending his years of service, was to go to Todoroki’s place and took Natsuo, who was just leaving the house after the dinner party, as his hostage.

Endeavor and the interns tries to save Natsuo

Before leaving the house, Enji, Bakugo and Midoriya thanks Fuyumi for the dinner. Fuyumi reaches out to Midoriya’s hands and thank him for being Shoto’s friend. While on the road, a Natsuo wrapped in the villain’s scarf flies across the car’s windshield and puts the car spinning. An angered, flaming Endeavor comes out of the car, directly speeding up at the villain but was stopped when the villain puts Natsuo in between of them.

After a quick look, Endeavor recalls the he has encountered this villain before and apprehended him seven years ago. His villain’s name is “Ending”. It put tears to Ending’s eyes, much like a fan being honored to be remembered by his idol. He tells Endeavor that Natsuo will die by his hand and begs Endeavor to take his life. He continues on and says that he is like a Nomu that Endeavor killed the other day- a mindless puppet and Endeavor is his only hope to get his dreams of dying a reality.

Midoriya, Bakugo and Todoroki rushes into the scene as soon as they could to save Natsuo and easily blocked Ending’s attacks by putting Endeavor’s advises into practice.

A surprised Ending loses his footing while retreating, giving a chance for Endeavor to attack but was again put to stop when he sees Natsuo. Not wasting any time, the three interns move past a stunned Endeavor and continue their pursue to rescue Natsuo. The villain manages to put several cars flying and says more people will die because of Endeavor.

Bakugo compresses his flame and dashes to save Natsuo just in time, saving him from being hit by a coming train. Midoriya, who tries his best to use two quirks subconsciously, uses his blackwhip to catch the falling cars and puts the people back into safety. Shoto aims with precision, charges up and releasing his flame towards Ending and using his ice quirk to freeze him, making Ending immobilized. While watching them fight, Endeavor was impressed by how much the three of them has improved over a one week time.

Endeavor rushes to hug Natsuo and Bakugo, who released himself from Endeavor’s hug. He waits for Endeavor’s praise at a pompous tone by being able to meet his expectations of “at least take down one villain before I do before the winter ends.” But Endeavor gives his praise at a friendly tone, disappointing Bakugo.

Endeavor puts out his flame and talks to Natsuo – admitting that he thought to himself that if he saves Natsuo, maybe Natsuo would not hate him as much anymore. He says it was not his intention to distance himself from Natsuo but he is running away from that thought. And the same goes for Toya. Natsuo asks if Endeavor is even being honest. He continues on saying Endeavor will never be forgiven because he does not have a kind heart like Shoto. But to Endeavor, he does have a kind heart because despite having that hatred, Natsuo came home for Fuyumi and his mother. He says Natsuo understands Fuyumi’s longing to have a normal family and that has been what keeping Natsuo motivated to keep trying.

Endeavor says that he is not asking Natsuo for forgiveness, but he want to make amends.

An investigation appears that Ending used a booster shot to enhance his quirk, making him the second villain who attacked Endeavor. Even if evil and villain persists towards him, Endeavor remains positive and agrees with Hawk why the interns is their hope. The episode ends with Hawk sneezing saying it must be Endeavor who is thinking of him right now.
