The Daily Life of the Immortal King (Chinese: 仙王的日常生活, Pinyin: Xian Wang de Richang Shenghuo) is a donghua or Chinese animation based on the same name of a Chinese novel by Kuxuan. The novel is published by Qidian of China Literature in Chinese and Webnovel in English. It began daily serialization in 2017. As of 30 June 2021, the novel has 1880 chapters, 1176 chapters of which have been translated into English. It also has a manhua or Chinese comic. You can watch it here on Netflix.

The Daily Life of the Immortal King Season 1 Episode 7 recap
The episode starts with teacher Wang and Wang Ling’s homeroom teacher Ms. Pan, who is greatly surprised that Wang Ling topped the National Senior Phase Cultivation School Power Show Test. Being a quiet student and a little below average student, she can not grasp how did Wang Ling ranked first place. It seems that their school Songhai Faction 60 will compete with Faction 59 in the first round, having 23 losses and 1 draw in the past 100 years. A gloomy but hopeful atmosphere airs among the teachers with Zhou Li saying things will be interesting this time.
A showcase of Songhai Faction 59 as they prepare for the competition is broadcasted by the media. Tang Jingze also gives a message to Faction 60 and Wang Ling.
The teachers discuss the line up arrangement of participants, with Ms. Pan objects the idea that only freshmen will participate for this year. However, Zhou Yi convinces her and shows his full confidence in her teaching skills. He also adds Froggy Two into the list, mentioning that spiritual beast should not be excluded. Froggy Two makes into the top 2 with 5000 points, making Tang Jingze become the third and angered contender.
Teacher Wang contacts the five participants through WeChat: Sun Rong, Wang Ling, Guo Hao, Chen Chao and Froggy Two and breaks the news to them. Each prepares their spiritual sword for the competition and Teacher Wang tells them about their preparation for the upcoming National Sword Competition.
At Songhai Faction 60, Tang Jingze and Ms. Xie also discusses their participant line up for the National Sword Competition and mentions to use “that man” making sure complete victory for them. This man is called He BuFeng. From the looks of it, he seems like a student being feared at Factor 60.
