The Daily Life of the Immortal King (Chinese: 仙王的日常生活, Pinyin: Xian Wang de Richang Shenghuo) is a donghua or Chinese animation based on the same name of a Chinese novel by Kuxuan. The novel is published by Qidian of China Literature in Chinese and Webnovel in English. It began daily serialization in 2017. As of 30 June 2021, the novel has 1880 chapters, 1176 chapters of which have been translated into English. It also has a manhua or Chinese comic. You can watch it here on Netflix.

The Daily Life of the Immortal King Season 1 Episode 4
The episode starts with Sun Rong approaching Wang Ling to ask him on a date. Unknowingly, two assassins from Shadow Faction are on a look out to terminate Sun Rong, the heir to Flower Fruit Water Curtain Group. Wang Ling notices the two assassins’ presence at the school’s roof and gives off an overwhelming pressure that made the sniper miss his shot at Sun Rong.
The two assassins pack their bags to leave and Tuntian sees them from the roof. Back at the classroom, Sun Rong begs Wang Ling to date her. At a timely manner, their teacher comes over their class and asks Wang Ling to come with him to Master Zhou’s office. Taking his opportunity to escape Sun Rong, he politely follows their teacher. Sun Rong happens to ask Wang Ling while he was having his conversation with their teacher and hears that Wang Ling responded with yes. Conversations all over the school discussess on how lucky Wang Ling is to have Sun Rong ask him on a date.
Wang Ling arrives at the office of the Joint Honorary Master Immortal of the School League, Master Zhou Yi. Zhou Yi is known for having defeated the thousand year demon Giant Frog but not known to others, it was a little boy named Wang Ling who really defeated him with a kick.
Master Zhou confronts Wang Ling who is unhappy about him mentioning or even remembering what had happened. He tells him how he had been looking for him all these past years and begs on his knees to asks Wang Ling to be his master. Without any explanation or response, Wang Ling casts the 50% trick of forgetting on Zhou Yi. Wang Li leaves the room quietly. While Wang Ling takes a break and eats up a snack, Tuntian informs him about the assassins from the roof.
The next day Sun Rong picks up Wang Ling from his house for their first date at Heavenly Paradise, a theme park. The two assassins shows up from behind and Wang Ling exposes and defeats them. To make things more interesting, every time he beats them up, Wang Ling casts 50% trick of forgetting on them and Sun Rong.
When sunset came, Sun Rong and Wang Ling rides the Ferris wheel and watches the firework display. Getting distracted for a bit, the two assassins hijacks their cab. Sun Rong knows that the two assassins are from Shadow Faction and puts up herself in front and tries to protect Wang Ling. Wang Ling stands up and defeats the two assassins flawlessly.
Wang Ling looks at Sun Rong and made her promise to keep this a secret – it is the only memory that Wang Ling did not erase from her. This is the first time in Wang Ling’s life that he has used 100% trick of promise. Zhou Yi manages the two assassins right on time and Wang Ling feels grateful for it.

- Targets that are beamed at by this trick lose memory about designated events and at the same time have the risk of falling into a vegetative state. For the safety of Wang Ling’s target, he reduces his power by half, only using 50% trick of forgetting.
