Below are the list of all Soul Hackers 2 DLC Quests / DLC Requests.

Rumors of a Summoner

Request Information:

ObtainedClub Cretaceous
ClientGalahad
Ideal Level10
Reward20,000 yen

This Request will be available from Club Cretaceous after defeating Take-Minakata in Arrow Sector. You will need to have purchased DLC or this Request won’t appear.

Look for a man in the middle of Shinsando wearing a grey suit. This is Galahad, who will inform you of the latest victim. She can be found in Karakucho.

Head to Karakucho and look for a girl in a green jacket, standing outside the “Sushi” restaurant east of Club Cretaceous. Be prepared for a fight when you talk with her, as you will be dragged into battle after a scene.

It may help to get demons who have Electric and Force skills if you want to go on the offensive. If you are looking for defense, bring demons who know Media/Lourdes

You will fight a One-Legged Demon. It is weak to Electric and Force, while immune to Ruin. Its biggest threat is Energy Drain, which drains HP and MP from your entire party while healing itself. It can also use Bufu, Poison Breath, and Mabufu, the latter two being used when the One-Legged Demon drops below half health.

Use Electric and Force skills to build up Stacks for powerful Sabbaths. Push through Energy Drain; it is severe but not enough to derail your entire team. When Poison Breath/Mabufu is used, look at your team and consider whether they can survive Energy Drain. If not, heal them up with Media/Medicines/Life Stones to keep your team alive.

If you properly Augment your team, there shouldn’t be a problem in bringing down the One-Legged Demon quickly. The longer this battle drags on, the worse your position is. Build Stacks and use powerful Sabbaths to finish the battle before Poison Breath and/or Energy Drain put you at a disadvantage.

Should Energy Drain prevent you from using Skills, One-Legged Demon has neutral resistance to Physical and Gun attacks, which is perfect for auto-attacking. It’s not recommended, but it’s not the worst option if the battle is coming down to the wire.

You will receive the Empty Wallet after the battle. Head to Shinsando and speak with the girl with the large backpack who has appeared in the middle of the area.

You are introduced to Nana, who will leave after the scene. Return to the middle of Shinsando to find Galahad who has reappeared. Speak to him to conclude the Request and get 20,000 yen.

Problem Child

Request Information:

ObtainedClub Cretaceous
ClientBrodie
Ideal Level29
RewardSealed Scripture x2

This Request is only available if you purchased the DLC and completed Rumors of a Summoner.

Head to the East Shipping District and turn right (around where Frost Ichiro is). You should see Brodie standing near some boxes if you accepted the Request.

Brodie will tell you that the most recent attack happened deep within the East Shipping District. Teleport to the North: Container Area portal and return to the place where you first found Milady. Nana will be standing there, but when you approach, you get a notice mentioning a tough battle is up ahead.

Preparation

Any demons with Electric skills should be brought along. If you can, have Sukunda on one demon and Sukukaja on another. Other buff skills, such as Tarukaja and Rakukaja are fantastic. If these demons resist Physical, that’s even better (though not strictly mandatory).

Having good healing spells such as Diarama is a must. Otherwise, have good healing items such as Natural Ointment. Revival Beads/Recarm Cigarettes/Balms of Life are also great to bring along.

When you proceed, you will get into a battle with Nana.

Nana uses the following moves:

  • Endless Appetite: Applies a permanent Tarukaja effect to Nana. After Gluttony is used, the next use of the move will give Nana a permanent Rakunda effect.
  • Eat Whole: Deals moderate Physical damage to a target, healing Nana for half the damage amount
  • Gluttony: Deals heavy Physical damage to the party, healing Nana for half the damage amount

Nana is weak to Electric, while immune to Force and Ruin.

Nana begins the battle with Endless Appetite. This cannot be removed with Dekaja or Tarunda. She will then use Eat Whole and Gluttony to attack your team. Due to Endless Appetite’s Tarukaja effect, these attacks will deal great damage to your team. Gluttony is capable of killing off your entire team if they aren’t resistant to Physical. Nana will also heal half of the damage she deals with these attacks.

After Gluttony is used, Nana will use Endless Appetite again. This time, it will apply a permanent Rakunda effect and will no longer give her a damage boost. After a few attacks, Endless Appetite will apply the Tarukaja effect again, and the cycle restarts.

This battle isn’t difficult if you can target Nana’s Electric weakness and recover from Gluttony. Sukukaja and Sukunda will give you the best chance of evading Eat Whole/Gluttony. While Rakukaja might seem better, evading Eat Whole/Gluttony means Nana doesn’t heal, which is better for ending the fight. Demons resistant to Physical will be able to withstand Gluttony easily, which also cuts down on her healing.

Build Stacks on Nana and unleash your most powerful Sabbaths. Ringo’s Electricity Stack will help in this battle, but having at least one other party member dealing Electric damage is good too.

Nana’s attacks never break the pattern, allowing you to predict when she will use attacks. Gluttony always comes after Eat Whole, allowing your team to prepare or Guard (if you don’t have Sukukaja/Sukunda). When Endless Appetite lowers Nana’s Defense, it’s a good time to heal and recover if needed.

As long as you can manage Gluttony’s damage while not letting up your Electric assault, Nana will fall quickly.

After the battle, you will move to Bar Heidrun. Go back to the East Shipping District to speak with Brodie again (his position hasn’t changed) to end the Request. You will get Sealing Scroll x2 as your reward.

Unforgettable

Request Information:

ObtainedClub Cretaceous
Client???
Ideal Level39
RewardChakra Drop x3

You must have completed Problem Child before this Request is available.

You will meet with Nana again, who wants you to take her to Mangetsu’s hideout. It is in Central Line, and it is near the Northwest Path Portal. As you go through the door next to the portal, you sense a dangerous presence up ahead, indicating a boss fight. Prepare accordingly and head on through.

Preparation

At least 3 party members should have demons that have Ice skills. If your fourth party member doesn’t have any Ice skills, try to give them Mediarama and some debuffs if possible. If you can, avoid demons who are weak to Fire and Electric.

Giant-Headed Demon can use the following moves:

  • Maragion: Moderate Fire damage to the party.
  • Mazionga: Moderate Electric damage to the party.
  • Beast Eye: Gives itself two actions per turn.
  • Energy Drain: Absorbs HP and MP from all party members, healing itself for half the amount absorbed.
  • Ice Wall: Changes its Ice resistance to Neutral.

Giant-Headed Demon is weak to Ice, resists Physical, Gun, and Force, is immune to Ruin, and absorbs Fire and Electric.

This battle looks intimidating, but only if you don’t know the Giant-Headed Demon’s weaknesses. Ice is the only reliable way of damaging it, and powerful Sabbaths are your main form of offense. If anyone doesn’t have Ice attacks, put them on healing/debuff duty if possible.

Nana will also join the battle, thankfully acting intelligently like using Ice skills to hit weaknesses. She does have other skills, and can also give Giant-Headed Demon weaknesses to other elements such as Force. While it does give you options, sticking with Ice is still the best way to win.

Giant-Headed Demon will start using Maragion and Mazionga first, but only one at a time. After taking away half of its health, it will use Beast Eye to increase its actions. You will then see Ice Wall and Energy Drain being used.

The strategy is to unleash as many Ice attacks as you can to build Sabbaths. Heal if you are injured, as this will be a long battle. Be careful of anyone repelling Fire and/or Electric; it’s great defense but it will heal Giant-Headed Demon.

If Giant-Headed Demon uses Ice Wall, you can play defensively or use debuffs while you wait for it to wear off. If Nana uses Ice Shatter, that temporarily negates Ice Wall, and you can resume your Ice attacks. If Energy Drain hits, your only option is to walk it off since it can’t be resisted. Heal any health lost and restore any MP if needed. Fortunately, the amount of health healed won’t be enough to stop your offensive (or it shouldn’t be if you have a good chance of winning). Keep up the pressure and you will win.

When the battle ends, head to Mangetsu’s hideout and you will get Chakra Drop x3. Head to Bar Heidrun as your next destination and speak to Nana who is standing left of the stairs leading to the bar. That will properly end the Request despite it officially ending after leaving Mangetsu’s hideout.

A Girl’s Resolve

Request Information:

ObtainedClub Cretaceous
ClientNana
Ideal Level49
RewardMa Incense Shard, Chakra Drop x2

You must have completed Unforgettable before this Request is available.

Head to Cirque du Goumaden to talk to Nana (go inside the facility). After the briefing, head to Subway Line 14. You will find the missing Lost Number in the Lower Area, north of the Southeast Path Portal (or all the way east of the Past the Hidden Path Portal).

The door will notify you of a dangerous presence, which is your cue to save and prepare before going in.

Preparation

Demons who are resistant or immune to Gun damage will help significantly. A demon with Tetrakarn will also help here. Resistance and immunity to Physical will also be great to bring along, but Gun is more important if you can only get one. Demons such as Fafnir and Valkyrie will be useful in either withstanding attacks or finishing the fight quickly.

The Lost Woman uses the following moves:

  • Torpor Strike: Deals moderate Physical damage and lowers Aim/Evasion for a target
  • Needle Rush: Deals moderate Gun damage to a target
  • Energy Drain: Drains a moderate amount of HP and MP from all party members, healing the Lost Woman for half the amount absorbed
  • Atom Slicer: Deals moderate Physical damage to the entire party
  • Blast Arrow: Deals moderate Gun damage to the entire party
  • Retaliate: Deals a powerful Gun counterattack after receiving a Physical/Gun attack

The Lost Woman is weak to Physical and Gun, while resisting Fire, Ice, Electric, and Force.

This battle is difficult if you don’t catch on to the fact that the Lost Woman will need to be defeated with Physical and Gun moves. There is a trap in that the Lost Woman can use Retaliate which has an (unusually) high occurrence rate. You will almost always get hit with it more often than not, though it doesn’t always trigger. Unless you are okay with dragging the fight out for a long time, you will need to find a way around Retaliate.

Setting up resistances to Physical and Gun early on will be key to surviving the battle. If you are immune to Gun, attacking the Lost Woman will have almost no repercussions. Any demons that repel Gun will even force the Lost Woman to damage itself, making the fight go faster. Physical resistance is necessary for Torpor Strike and Atom Slicer, which can still hurt your team badly.

The only non-Physical move is Energy Drain, which absorbs your team’s HP and MP. Fortunately, the amount absorbed isn’t significant, and you can easily recover.

Anyone who is weak to Physical/Gun or can’t withstand Retaliate should just Guard. Everyone else should be using regular attacks or their most powerful Physical attacks. Charge will help speed up the battle and deal large amounts of damage.

As long as you can mitigate the effects of Retaliate, this battle is easy. Demons such as Valkyrie or Fafnir will allow you to fight without much worry. Zaou-Gongen, Chernobog, Sudama, Arahabaki, and Orthrus are also good suggestions for those looking for lower level alternatives.

After the Lost Woman falls, a second Lost Number will appear. Your next goal is to take them down after finding them. Their location is in the northwest part of the Lower Area, opposite the staircase leading to the Lowest Area.

Preparation

Demons with Ruin skills are highly recommended. Immunity to Gun and Force will be useful as well, though it can be hard to find. Dekaja Mists from De La Mancha will be useful to bring along as well, though anyone with Dekaja as a skill is acceptable. Buffs, such as Sukukaja, are optional but helpful.

The Lost Knight uses the following moves:

  • Divine Shot: Deals heavy Gun damage to a target
  • Zandyne: Deals heavy Force damage to a target
  • Raw Fury: Cures any status ailments, and increases Attack/Aim/Evasion in exchange for a lowered Defense
  • Charge: Doubles the power of the next Physical attack
  • Concentrate: Doubles the power of the next Magic attack
  • Energy Drain: Drains a moderate amount of HP and MP from all party members, healing the Lost Knight for half the amount absorbed

The Lost Knight is weak to Ruin, resists Physical, Fire, Ice, and Electric, while absorbing Gun and Force.

This battle will be difficult without Ruin, as it is the only reliable way of creating Sabbaths that will actually hurt the Lost Knight. Unfortunately, Ruin attacks tend to inflict status ailments, which will always trigger Raw Fury (even if the Lost Knight wouldn’t normally be able to do so). Raw Fury will make the Lost Knight stronger, but at the cost of lowering its Defense. Its increased Aim/Evasion can allow it to avoid attacks, forgoing the need for Defense.

If your team can buff itself with Sukukaja, you can offset that increase. You can also have the last active party member use Dekaja/a Dekaja Mist item after everyone has used Ruin attacks to leave the Lost Knight weakened overall.

This isn’t a difficult battle as long as you can throw in Dekaja and remove the buffs. Knowing that Ruin works well allows you to speed up the fight, which would otherwise take a long time. When the Lost Knight uses Charge/Concentrate, have everyone not immune to Gun/Force Guard, as the resulting attack can be powerful.

Keep the Ruin attacks up, build powerful Sabbaths, and keep the buffs away from the Lost Knight to win.

This will be the last fight, and Nana will give you the Ma Incense Shard and the Chakra Drop x2 reward, completing the Request.

When you arrive head past the Entrance Portal and go counter clockwise around the area until you reach some stairs going down. You can also cut across the central area for a shortcut.

When you arrive at B2F, go counter clockwise to reach the next set of stairs. This time, cut across the central area and head north, then go counter clockwise to reach the stairs.

Upon reaching B3F, follow the only path until you reach the West Entrance Portal. Past the Portal is a Lost Number fight, and it is best to prepare before going in.

Preparation

The upcoming battle has an enemy that resists everything. Bring demons with Almighty skills if possible. Alternatively, if any of them can use elemental Break spells (ie. Fire Break), bring them along. Healing skills like Mediarama/Mediarahan are necessary for this battle, unless you have other healing items such as Treasure Chests.

Dekaja/Dekaja Mists are highly recommended. Buffs and debuffs will also be useful, but aren’t as important as Dekaja. If you can access all elements with your demons, bring them along if Almighty isn’t an option.

You will battle the Lost Samurai when you approach.

Boss Fight: Lost Samurai

The Lost Samurai can use the following moves:

  • Bloodlust: Boosts Attack/Aim/Evasion
  • Megido: Deals moderate Almighty damage to the party
  • Beast Eye: Increases the number of actions taken per turn
  • Energy Drain: Drains HP and MP from the party, healing the Lost Samurai for half the amount absorbed
  • Megidola: Deals heavy Almighty damage to the party

The Lost Samurai resists every element (Physical, Gun, Fire, Ice, Electric, Force and Ruin).

This battle can be difficult if you panic and think you can’t win because there are no weaknesses. Lost Samurai will try to buff itself and hit you with Megido and Energy Drain. As it gets weaker, it will use Beast Eye to get 2 actions per turn. It will then use Bloodlust and other attacks to wear your team down.

There are two ways to win. The first is to use nothing but Almighty attacks since they can’t be resisted. It will drain your team’s MP, but is a reliable way of dealing damage.

The second way is to remove the Lost Samurai’s resistance through spells like Fire Break, or waiting for Nana to use an elemental Shatter. Either method will remove the Lost Samurai’s resistance, making them vulnerable to an element. In Nana’s case, the elemental Shatter will make them weak to said element, letting you build Stacks. Unfortunately, Nana doesn’t use them frequently, but it’s still used often enough for decent damage.

If you can constantly use Dekaja/Dekaja Mists on the Lost Samurai after Bloodlust, it will always spend a turn recasting it. This happens after Beast Eye is used, and is a great way to force the Lost Samurai to waste one of its turns. Otherwise, the Lost Samurai is happy to use other attacks on you. Debuffs will also help mitigate the damage from attacks, as will buffs.

Nana uses elemental Shatters enough that you can forgo using Almighty attacks if you have the matching elements. It will take some time because the Lost Samurai has a lot of health, but you can slowly chip away at its health. Don’t forget to heal after powerful attacks and you will eventually win the battle.

After the fight, make your way counterclockwise and go down the next set of stairs. Keep going down to B7F (it’s the same stairs at the same place every floor) and you will see the Lab Entrance Portal. There will be another fight when you reach the center area, and you should prepare for it.

Preparation

Having demons with access to all elemental attacks is recommended. Try to bring demons who can use Charge/Concentrate as damage is important. Buffs, debuffs, and Dekaja will be useful for this battle. Healing spells such as Mediarama/Mediarahan should be brought along in case the battle gets too intense.

You will face two Zenon Type-0 enemies after the scene.

Boss Fight: Zenon Type-0 x2

Zenon Type-0 can use the following moves:

  • Energy Drain: Drains HP and MP of the entire party, healing Zenon Type-0 for half the amount drained
  • Create Zoma: Summons a random Zoma enemy that you have previously fought before

Zenon Type-0 has no weaknesses or resistances. Their affinity is always neutral.

This battle looks intimidating but it is easier than it looks. Zenon Type-0 only has one form of offense, which is Energy Drain. Both Zenons will summon Zomas you have previously fought in this quest line to the battle.

Fortunately, you should know each enemy’s weakness by now (and they will show up again). This lets you build Stacks and unleash powerful Sabbaths that damage everyone. Energy Drain can’t fully make up for the damage and it is mostly there to inconvenience you. Some of the Zomas are somewhat durable, but can easily be taken down by focusing on their weaknesses as well as the Sabbaths.

Using Charge/Concentrate will allow you to plow through the summoned Zomas easily. You can also direct your attacks towards Zenon Type-0 if there are no Zomas around. The lack of resistances mean that any attack will work, and defeating one Zenon will make the battle significantly easier.

It really is a battle to see how fast you can destroy the Zomas and attack the Zenon Type-0 enemies. Once you get the hang of defeating the Zomas, this battle will not be difficult. With one Zenon left on the battlefield, you have nearly won the fight.

If any summoned Zomas are left on the battlefield, you must defeat them even if the two Zenon Type-0 enemies have been defeated. Fortunately, that shouldn’t be too difficult.

After the battle, the Request will be complete and you will get Original Flame x1 and Abyssal Grimoire. Return to Madam Ginko to prepare for the next DLC Request.

Nana’s Lonely Heart

Request Information:

ObtainedClub Cretaceous
ClientNana
Ideal Level63
RewardOriginal Flame, HP Incense

You must have completed Last Stop before this Request is available.

Return to the Hachigaya Training Field and resume going down from the B7F Portal. On B11F, head to the northwest corner of the area to find a Yatagarasu member. He will give you the Hachigaya Seido Crackdown Request if you want to take it on. If you do complete it, you will get the Waning Moon Charm, which is highly recommended for the upcoming fight.

When you reach the 13F, you will see Nana in the center of the floor. There will be a Lab Alcove Portal nearby in case you need to retreat.

Now isn’t the time to face Nana unless you are extremely overleveled/have amazing stats. Head down to B15F and go to the northwest corner to find another Request giver. Offer to help them to get Hachigaya Hokudo Crackdown. Complete it to get the Waxing Moon Charm, which makes the final fight significantly easier.

Return to Nana now and move forward to fight her. If you pay attention, the text will change to a regular boss battle instead of asking if you forgot something.

Nana can use the following moves:

  • Nerfin-ator: Massively lowers Attack/Defense of the party. Is not considered a regular debuff and does not affect Rakukaja/Tarukaja
  • Makajamaon: Deals weak Ruin damage to the party and inflicts Seal
  • Accelerate: Increases the number of actions per turn
  • Summon: Summons a demon to the battlefield such as Yoshitsune and Kinnamon
  • Divine Shot: Deals heavy Gun damage to a target
  • Voracity: Fills the battlefield with miasma, dealing gradually increasing damage every turn
  • So Hungry: Targets a friendly demon
  • Chow…Down: Eats the targeted demon, gaining increased Attack/Defense
  • Energy Drain: Drains HP and MP from the target, recovering half the amount absorbed

Yoshitsune can use the following moves:

  • Empty Wave: Deals heavy Physical damage to the party
  • Bamboo Slice: Deals heavy Physical damage to a target

Kinnamon can use the following moves:

  • Makarakarn: Sets up a Magic-repelling barrier for all enemies that lasts for one turn
  • Tetrakarn: Sets up a Physical-repelling barrier for all enemies that lasts for one turn
  • Volt Wall: Increases a target’s Electric resistance for 3 turns

Nana is weak to Electric, resists Ice, is immune to Ruin, and absorbs Gun and Force. Yoshitsune is weak to Force, resists Fire, and repels Electric. Kinnamon is weak to Ice, resists Gun and Electric.

The Nerfin-ator will cause a massive damage drop and cause you to take significantly more damage (imagine 900+). Voracity will also fill the battlefield with miasma that damages you too much to heal from.

Thankfully, the Waxing Moon Charm cancels out Nerfin-ator’s effects, and the Waning Moon Charm cancels out Voracity. Those were the two biggest obstacles in the battle, and actually makes the battle very easy.

Without those talismans, you cannot remove the effects of Nerfin-ator, and you must defeat Nana as quickly as possible with your reduced damage. When Voracity activates, you will lose the battle since you can’t damage Nana faster than Voracity eats through your HP.

All you have to do is hit Nana with your strongest Electric attacks and she should fall. Partway through the fight, she will summon a demon (and might summon another after a few turns). After a few turns, she will eat it for a stat boost. If you can defeat the demon before then, you can deny her a stat increase, but it might not be worth giving up your full assault to defeat the demon(s).

Return to Club Cretaceous after the battle and talk to Madam Ginko to complete the Request. You will get Original Flame and HP Incense for your troubles.

Hachigaya Seido Crackdown

Request Information:

ObtainedHachigaya Training Field
ClientFuyuhiko
Ideal Level61
Reward500,000 yen

You must go past Fuyuhiko to reach a door that leads to another part of the Hachigaya Training Ground. You must also make your way up to the top floor by going up the staircases. Fortunately, the “top floor” means B8F, and it’s not a long climb.

When you arrive at B8F, there will be a portal in front of a Sudama enemy. It will be treated as a dangerous presence, and you will fight two of them when you approach. Despite the high level and their ability to summon Kodama, this isn’t a difficult battle. They do have new resistances: they resist Gun and are immune to Force and Ruin. Without weaknesses, this can take a while.

They are also capable of using Force Break and Mazandyne to try and deal more damage to your team. Despite the use of Flame Wall in the battle, only the Kodamas are weak to Fire. The Kodamas use Fog Breath and Mediarama to stretch the battle out even further. This battle is more annoying than it is difficult since the Sudamas have no weaknesses. Once they fall, you can easily take out the Kodamas.

You will get the Waning Moon Charm after the battle. Return to Fuyuhiko to get 500,000 yen, and he will comment on the Waning Moon Charm’s effectiveness against Lost Numbers.

Hachigaya Hokudo Crackdown

Request Information:

ObtainedHachigaya Training Field
ClientNatsuki
Ideal Level61
Reward500,000 yen

As with the other Request, you must reach the highest floor of the area past Natsuki. You need to go up to B12F this time, and you will see an Orochi near the Altar Area Portal.

This Yamato-no-Orochi is weak to Electric, resists Ruin, and is immune to Fire and Ice. It can use Agidyne, Hellfire, and Deathbound, and moves twice per turn, along with healing 600 HP after its action. If you attack Yamato-no-Orochi with a Physical/Gun attack, it can use Avenge for a powerful Physical counterattack.

Since it gets two actions per turn, Yamato-no-Orochi will heal 1200 HP every turn. You need to hit it hard with your most powerful Electric attacks. Barring that, use Charge/Concentrate combinations that aren’t Fire, Ice, or Ruin-based. Try to be immune to Physical and Fire and you will not have a problem with this battle. You will get the Waxing Moon Charm when you are done.

Return to Natsuki for 500,000 yen, and you will keep the Waxing Moon Charm for the final fight.

Tribute and Worship

Request Information:

ObtainedClub Cretaceous
ClientShogetsu
Ideal Level99
RewardPlatinum Ring, 5,000,000 yen

You must have completed A Homecoming before this Request is available.

As you might expect of the recommended level, this isn’t going to be the easiest mission. You will be going past B15F of the Hachigaya Training Field, and it will have powerful enemies. Each floor gets progressively harder, with enemies going from the mid 60s early on to the early 90s.

When you arrive at Hachigaya Training Field B1F, talk to the man in the brown coat nearby. He is Shogetsu, the Request giver. He will give you the Daikokuten Sake, which is necessary for the end of the Request.

You can also recruit Nana to join you near the B1F Portal. Taking her along won’t make a significant difference, but she does have better moves than before.

Head to B15F and go to the southeast corner. You should see a Ganesha who will mention that going past is dangerous, and you will need to be ready. It will unseal the area, allowing you to take the blue portal down to B16F and beyond.

When you get to B20F, you will see Shiva and Parvati in the center. These are the bosses you will need to fight. They are difficult, and you want to prepare well before fighting them.

Preparation

Your team should be at least Level 95-99 before taking on the following boss fight. It will be a marathon boss fight, and you will need to understand the boss patterns in order to win.

You must have access to demons who can target at least 1-3 elements. Having Mediarahan/Eternal Prayer and Samarecarm should be necessary at this point. These demons should also be immune to at least one element (nullifying, absorbing, or repelling). You should be able to use Conversion/Master Conversion to make a party member immune to an element as necessary.

Having individual target skills is more important than multi-target/multi-hit skills. Debilitate should be the only debuff you bring along; anything else isn’t going to make a difference fast enough. Bring items to cure status ailments in case Eternal Prayer is blocked.

Boss Fight: Shiva & Parvati

Shiva can use the following moves:

  • Mani Lingam: Arrow and Saizo’s moves are ineffective against Shiva
  • Tandava’s Dance: Changes Shiva’s resistances while boosting Attack/Defense
  • Lasya’s Dance: Restores Shiva’s default resistances while boosting Attack/Defense
  • Freikugel: Deals heavy Gun damage to a target with a high chance of Critical
  • Bamboo Slice: Deals heavy Physical damage to a target
  • Agidyne: Deals heavy Fire damage to a target
  • Bufudyne: Deals heavy Ice damage to a target
  • Ziodyne: Deals heavy Fire damage to a target
  • Zandyne: Deals heavy Force damage to a target
  • Nilakantha: Raises the chances your party can be inflicted with ailments

Parvati can use the following moves:

  • Padma Yoni: Milady, Nana, and Ringo’s moves are ineffective against Parvati
  • Lasya’s Dance: Changes Parvati’s resistances while boosting Attack/Defense
  • Tandava’s Dance: Restores Parvati’s default resistances while boosting Attack/Defense
  • Makajama: Deals weak Ruin damage to a target and inflicts Seal

Shiva is weak to Gun, Ice and Force, while repelling Physical, Fire, Electric, and Ruin. Parvati is weak to Physical, Fire, Electric and Ruin, while repelling Gun, Ice, and Force.

When Lasya’s/Tandava’s Dance is used, these resistances switch (Parvati will be weak to Gun, Ice, and Force. Shiva will be weak to Physical, Fire, Electric, and Ruin).

This boss battle isn’t too difficult, but the difficulty lies in players not paying attention.

Shiva and Parvati will use Mani Lingam and Padma Yoni respectively. These moves last the entirety of the battle and can’t be bypassed. This means Shiva can only be damaged by Milady and Ringo (along with Nana if you brought her). Parvati can only be hurt by Arrow and Saizo.

If you forget this fact, you will start trying to hurt the wrong enemy and most of your attacks will be ineffective. This is made worse by the fact that Shiva’s weaknesses are perfect for Arrow and Saizo, with the same being true for Parvati (with Milady and Ringo). This is only to trip you up, but it is easy to bypass if you pay attention.

Have Arrow and Saizo focus on targeting Parvati’s weaknesses, while Milady and Ringo should hurt Shiva. Don’t worry about Nana; she might attack Parvati and deal no damage, but you shouldn’t be relying on her anyway. If you maintain this attack pattern and remember to heal, this becomes a traditional boss battle.

Partway through the fight, Shiva and Parvati will use Tandava’s and Lasya’s Dance. This switches their affinities around, with Shiva gaining Parvati’s weaknesses and vice versa. This allows your team to take advantage of their inherent Summoner Skills and Mistiques, and it’s a great time to switch demons with Master Conversion. Neither boss changes up their attack pattern, and you can just keep continuing your previous strategy. Make sure you remember the weaknesses have changed, or you will get your attacks reflected.

When Shiva and Parvati are both weak, they will use Tandava’s/Lasya’s Dance to switch their weaknesses back to normal. You should have enough turns to use Master Conversion and change your team’s demons and finish the battle.

Right after the battle finishes, you will immediately transition to fighting with the next boss.

Boss Battle: Ardha

Ardha can use the following moves:

  • Return to Ash: Reduce all Commander Skill counts to 1
  • World Upheaval: Forces target to take their next attack as a certain element
  • Megidolaon: Deals severe Almighty damage to the party
  • Summon: Summons two demons to the battlefield, such as Kali
  • Concentrate: Doubles the damage of the next Magic attack
  • Universal Upheaval: Forces the party to take their next attack as a certain element
  • Roar: Lowers Attack/Defense for the entire party
  • Nilakantha: Raises the chances your party can be inflicted with ailments
  • Makajamaon: Deals weak Ruin damage to the party and inflicts Seal
  • Makajamaon: Deals weak Ruin damage to the party and inflicts Sleep

Ardha repels all elements except Almighty by default.

Kali has all neutral affinities, while using Empty Wave and Heaven’s Bow. Ganesha will repel all elements, and can use Megidolaon and Diarahan (thankfully, it doesn’t heal the full amount on Ardha).

This battle is significantly harder, as Ardha gets 2 actions per turn. It also has a trick in this battle that can be hard to grasp if you aren’t paying attention.

Ardha’s weaknesses depend on the element that it locks your party into when using World/Universal Upheaval. Look at the affected party member/s and see what affinity has been locked in. For example, if you see an Ice element, Ardha’s weakness will be Ice. It can have multiple weaknesses if Universal Upheaval is used.

World/Universal Upheaval will force your party member to take the next attack as if it came from the indicated element. If a party member has the Ice symbol, the next attack will be treated as an Ice attack, even if it is initially Physical or even Almighty. It only lasts one attack, but it will almost always target what your party member is weak to at the time. Switching your team’s demons with Conversion/Master Conversion is the only way to safely avoid the attack.

Switch to demons immune to the indicated element, and hopefully can target Ardha’s temporary weaknesses. Ardha is only weak to those elements as long as they are in play; once the attack has been performed, Ardha goes back to its Repel resistances.

The key to winning this battle is paying attention to the elements allocated by World/Universal Upheaval. When Ardha uses Concentrate, it will spend the next turn using Universal Upheaval. It will then use Megidolaon the next turn. If you don’t pay attention, you will be inevitably wiped out.

The Kali and Ganesha are resistant to all forms of damage, but take increased damage from Sabbaths. The Kalis aren’t a problem, but Ganesha is capable of using Megidolaon (though thankfully a weaker version). The problem is that Ganesha’s Megidolaon can actually mess up your timings with World/Universal Upheaval, and force you to take the full force of a Concentrated Megidolaon (which is a guaranteed death sentence if not evaded).

Use the Damage Converter Commander Skill to focus your Sabbath damage on Ganesha to take it out quickly. It might seem like a waste, but it is the best course of action and is far better than risking your life against Ardha’s Megidolaon.

Don’t forget to keep everyone’s health high and to heal status ailments if they become a problem. Fortunately, staying on top of World/Universal Upheaval is the battle’s biggest challenge. If you can do that successfully (and prevent Ganesha from ruining it), you will beat Ardha after a long fight.

After the battle, you can fuse Deity Ardha. You will hand the Daikokuten Sake to Shiva and finish the conversation. Return to B15F and talk to the Ganesha, then return to Shogetsu. You will get Platinum Ring x1 and 5,000,000 yen, completing the Request.
