Hye-jin attends the Shopkeepers’ meeting but she finds herself hating it. She looks around but does not see Du-sik around and she comes to her senses questioning what is she doing there. Nam-sook continues babbling rumors starting with the mysterious divorce reason of Hwa-jung and Yeong-guk, who later joins them and has overhead their conversation because of Nam-sook’s loud voice.

After coming back from the restroom, she wants to go home badly and put up an act that she is already drunk and pretends to sleep. But everyone did little attention to her since Chief Hong is on the stage, singing a song for everyone. Hye-jin positions herself to take a peak at Chief Hong while he sings, but was caught in the act and he smiles.

After the meeting, everyone leaves except for Hye-jin who is waiting to be patted to be waken up. Du-sik pulls her up and piggy back rides her home. Du-sik asks why did she pretended to be asleep and she says it is because she wants to hurry home. He tells her that they live in a society and she could not afford not to be around people. He bets that she does not have a friend but Hye-jin defends herself. He asks her to name three friends in five seconds and all she could say was Mi-seon’s name and walks away.

Pervert patient causes a scene at Hye-jin’s dental clinic

Back at Hye-jin dental clinic, Mi-Seon talks about Ji Seong-hyeon, a rising star tv producer when she sees him in the magazine. Mi-seon says that Hye-jin rarely watch television shows but she tunes in to his and catches a wind that Hye-jin might have a crush on him. Hye-jin brushes it off and says a man and a woman can be just friends. Mi-seon teasingly smiles. Hye-jin comes back at her asking why Mi-seon has put up all makeup on. She asks if Mi-seon is waiting for Choi Eun-choel and Mi-seon giggles.

The door opens and a patient comes into the clinic saying that he has not booked an appointment but would like to get treated. He fills up the form and goes straight in to the dental exam room. Hye-jin examines his teeth but the patient look uninterested, instead, he is looking at Hye-jin pervertedly. When asked if he has any questions, he says that he trusts Hye-jin’s judgement and curiously looks around the room asking if there are installed cameras inside the exam room, since it has been reported that these are additional costs on top of the treatment. Hye-jin says she does not have any installed, since she needs the patients’ consent which she has not yet worked on. His voice sounds with a relief.

He pays using a credit card for his treatment and when he gets his card from Mi-seon, his hand brushes with her hand. Mi-seon notices that the patient is rich because he wears designer clothes and says it is a bit sad because he has to work to have more money to buy expensive things.

After clinic hours, Nam-sook invites Hye-jin and Mi-seon to a shopkeepers’ meeting where all the business owners are members and Nam-sook is the chairwoman. Both looks uninterested and tells her they already have a plan, until Nam-sook mentions she can not change the date even if she wants to accommodate theirs because the treasurer Chief Hong has only this day to spare. Hye-jin’s face lifts and says that she will join to show support to the community. Mi-seon strangely could not understand her friend who suddenly changed her mind.

The patient comes back for his follow up appointment and this time, Mi-seon assists with his treatment and Hye-jin leaves for a short while. When she comes back, she could not believe her eyes when she saw his hand groping around Mi-seon’s waist.

Hye-jin pulls Mi-seon away from him and pushes the pervert patient away to the clinic lobby, angered by how he has treated Mi-seon. The patient insists that he felt uncomfortable and leaned on her for a ‘second’ and walks closer towards them. Hye-jin pushes him away but the patient looks unbothered and tries to justify his action just being misunderstood.

Hye-jin says she clearly saw his hand groping around her and calls out Mi-seon to call the police. Timely, grandma Gam-ri arrives at the clinic and observes that something is happening inside. She quickly steps outside to call someone.

Shameless, the pervert patient even calls up the police first himself and reports that he is being accused of sexual harassment and he is the victim. He says to Hye-jin that he did nothing wrong and even brags that everyone in Gongjin knows him. His father owns a concrete business and his uncle is a city council man at Gongjin. He threatens him that if people find out she is accusing an innocent person, she might need to close up her clinic.

Mi-seon tells Hye-jin to let it slip away instead of risking her clinic. The pervert patient then mocks why he should be even bother with Mi-seon who is not on his level. Finally getting on her nerves, Hye-jin high kicks his head and he falls down on the floor. He stands up with his lip bleeding then he gets a slap from Hye-jin. Du-sik rushes in and gives him another kick in the head. While still out of breath, he goes to Hye-jin and asks her if she is okay before collapsing on the floor.

Later on, Du-sik confronts the pervert patient at the hospital about his misdeed as he finally found an evidence of his action – video recordings of his phone. The patient did not realize that he left his phone at Yoon Dental Clinic, which was picked up by Gam-ri and she surrendered it to the police station earlier.

Du-sik ensures that the patient is charged of his sexual harassments and has been put to jail. Hye-jin and Mi-seon forms a deeper sister-friendship bond when Hye-jin re-affirms her that Mi-seon can come to Hye-jin if she needs help.

Hye-jin visits Du-sik’s house and plans to leave him a good wine and food as her thank you for his efforts of putting the pervert patient to jail. But she finds herself wanting that good wine and could not let go of it until he arrives. He invites her over in his house for a drink.

Hye-jin looks around his house and is surprised to see how organized his things are because she was expecting it would be a stinky, bachelor’s pad. Du-sik says not to be judgmental, instead be more prejudice. Hye-jin sees a photo of a boy and his grandfather and asks if it was him. Du-sik says yes. She asks if he has any relative and he says that he has no one. He only lives by himself.

They enjoy the wine and the food prepared by Du-sik while talking about wines. Throughout their conversation, Hye-jin tries to educate him about how to pour and enjoy drinking wine but Du-sik seems well-versed but is getting impatient how long it takes her to just drink her wine.

Hye-jin becomes tipsy and asks Du-sik about his personal life which he turns down. In return, she says she can ask him any question but just one. He asks why did she come to Gongjin. She tells her that it was her mother’s birthday the first time she went to Gongjin with her family. It would have been her mother’s sixtieth birthday and she could have wanted to travel with her to different places, bought her expensive birthday gifts or just a meal together. And she starts to shed tears and tries to brush off her hot, reddish face.

While Hye-jin was talking, Du-sik’s hand was holding a can of ice and when she said her face is turning hot, he reaches out to her face to help keep her feel cool.
