Atelier Marie Remake Walkthrough

During your first playthrough it is important that you meet the following requirements at the end of year 5 and choose to play with a time limit:

Marie and Schea level 50.
Make all but one of the alchemy items (Stardust) and also the Aroma Materia needed to create the Philosopher’s Stone.
Cure Schea’s disease with an Elixir by following her chain of events.
Get 100% of the weapons and armor together with the Key items (the objects that you can buy in the Academy together with the decoration objects that Flair sells from the second year, the library card, the card to enter the castle and Fairy Charm).

The events you should make sure to watch during your first playthrough to reduce the time for the platinum trophy a bit are: Scream in the Night” (A Marie event) , “Bamboo Lore” (weapon owner event), “Brothers” (Kugel event), “Lady thief Der Himmel” (Natalie event).Make sure to raise your character affinity and watch as many events as possible to reduce the time to the platinum trophy during your second playthrough.

Unique Time Limit Events

Do the quests available in Sky Tavern whenever possible. Always complete Ingrid’s tasks from now on. Nearby Forest to collect or level up the first levels. Raise the affinity of the characters and start seeing their events from here until year 5. Prioritize the affinity of Mu and Kugel by at least 60 points each during the first year.

June	During 6/28 an event occurs related to the character with the least affinity. (these events are necessary for Memory Lane).
August	Participate in the summer event on the 15th.

First Year Annual Events

(Make sure to save if you don’t get an event or wait a couple of days to see if it shows up).

Rumors about a strange knight	During 7/1 (sometimes 6/28) in Salburg there will be a soldier who will tell you about a strange knight that has appeared. This event is important as it is the way you can get to unlock Kirielich.After 10 days and less than 190 days, a new event in Sky tavern will take place and Kirielich will be available. If you don’t see this event after 190 days you will lose the opportunity to recruit her and lose the events related to her.

During the first year it is important that you get to unlock the fairies as soon as you can and when you do, that you only hire the dark blue fairies (Navy) since they are the fastest working. May	May 23 is the king’s birthday. This event will take place only if you watched all three events related to “Two men 1 and 2” and talked to Enderk at least once after watching the events.
～June	When you have the library key (+150 reputation points and Marie level is 8 or higher) and your reputation is 400+ the “Hidden Room” event will take place.
Other	Make sure to do the “Bamboo Lore” events by talking to the owner of the weapon shop and with a reputation of 200+ points and follow the chain of events to get the best staff for Marie.

Second Year Annual Events

Also the library will be unlocked so we can read new books so make sure to visit it for a couple of consecutive days after unlocking the library. The “Hidden Room” event will also provide new books that are essential to continue advancing as an alchemist.It is necessary to get a reputation of 500 points to unlock the “Hidden room” eventsRemember that now Natalie will have the lowest affinity among all characters (38 points) so you will be able to see her event on 6/28.There is a book inside the Hidden room that will allow you to collect one of the unique items in the game. The name of this book is “Dark life” and it allows you to collect annually on 6/18 in Nerby Forest the “Dunkelheit” flower necessary for the creation of the philosopher’s stone. If during this year you don’t have the 500 reputation points to unlock the book and collect Dunkelheit before 6/18, don’t worry, during the next year you will be able to collect it.Also, don’t forget to keep increasing your reputation and knowledge.

Raise Marie and Schea to level 50.Defeat the bosses: Flammpfeil and Wirbel.Collect the items you need, craft all but one alchemy item (Stardust) and don’t make Aroma Materia either.

During year 4 there are not many things left to do so you can increase the level of affinity with the characters and level up Marie and Schea to 50 or close since there will still be a whole year left to continue leveling up.This year may be a good opportunity to raise the affinity of all characters up to 100 by heading to Nerby Forest and returning to the Atelier and getting the trophy Bosom Buddies. Also, you can work on the trophy Miss Moneybags selling craft and Megacraft along with Sky Tavern quests or creating items that can be purchased from the academy but take a lot of time/resources to ease the process.Remember that there is still one more year of the game left but you can advance in these two trophies to advance even faster.Also, it’s a good opportunity to start working on Marie’s events “Echoes of Ancient Glory 1 to 5” by heading to Belsenburg with Mu, Kirie, Hallesch, Kugel and Enderk. Don’t forget to save before trying because these events are random and only have a 35% chance to appear. Only one event appears at a time, so you can your party can be, for example, Marie, Schea and Mu and when you get Mu’s item and event, remove her from the party and add Kirie, etc,.

In this last year there are no more things to do but get to the ending The Legendary Pair. Remember that it is also in this last year where you can see the events that are only possible to see during the limited time by fulfilling the following requirements:

Kirielich affinity at 75 and all previous events seen except the event requires him to have 80 affinity.
Defeat Magician Faren with Kirielich in your party.
Kirielich will visit you in the Atelier from 12/5 of year 5 to tell you that…

Ruven’s affinity above 95 points.

During the month 8/1 to 8/19 in year 5, Marie will give a commentary on the final exam in the Atelier.

Once you defeat Magician Faren with Kirielich in your party, after 60 days new enemies appear in Erfolg Tower, the necessary ones and probably the last ones you need to get the trophy Monster Hunter.

Once you finish all of the above and Marie and Schea are level 50, sleep in the Atelier until the day of the exam. Save your game and in the main menu, load said save and choose unlimited to start the second playthrough.
