Here’s a guide to play Doraemon: Story of Seasons Guide for Year 1 (Spring). I have spent the time taking notes on how to efficiently use up Noby’s days to trigger events and unlock Doraemon’s gadgets during Year 1 (Spring). Hope you’ll enjoy the game as much as I did!

Achievements

By following the above blow, you will be able to unlock the following in the Spring Year 1:

  • Doraemon Golden Statue
  • Old PickAxe
  • Old Fishing Rod
Spring DaysActivitiesEvent Trigger / Achievements
Day 3– Accept Ryam’s offer to find a Horsetail for him. He will give you Turnip Seeds in return
– Till, plant and water the Turnip Seeds while waiting for Knick Knack’s General Store to open by 3pm
– Go to Knick Knack’s General Store and talk to Jemma. Then talk to Gemma and select Spring Seeds Set (for 0 Gold). Then after the event trigger, talk to Jemma again and she will give you the seeds for free.
– Talk to Gemma for “Special Delivery” for Ryam and this will trigger an event. Make sure not to peek into the bag.
– Go around the map and talk to neighbors to increase relationship points. This will help Noby unlock more trigger events in the coming days.
By talking to Jemma 3x, this will trigger the event for Gemma to tell Noby to talk to Jemma about something (which is she will give Noby a bag of additional Spring Seeds such as Turnip, Potato and Cabbage seeds)

By talking to Gemma > “Special Delivery” for Ryam and choosing not to take a peek, Ryam will tell you to get a Golden Doraemon Statue from Pent and Doraemon will give you Fatigue Frogger and Gro-Quick Powder.
Day 4– Till, plant and water the seeds
– Talk to villagers as they passby
– Go to around the Map to get Map stamps and food
– Go to Mining area and event trigger will occur unlocking Mining. Doraemon, Blake and Smitty will be there to orient Noby about mining. Continue mining as you get ores. Stock or sell some. These will be used for upgrading your tools with Smitty later.
By unlocking Mining, you will be able to get Old PickAxe from Blake. You will use this for mining fossils and ore.
Day 5– Water the plants and talk to villagers as they pass by
– Sandy visits Noby and talks about fishing. To get the Old Fishing Rod, find and talk to Sandy again.
– Spend the day fishing or mining for a Gold ore which will be used for Anywhere Door later in the game.
– Buy fertilizer for Strawberry/Potato crops in preparation for Spring Harvest Contest on the 28th
By unlocking Fishing, you will be able to get Old Fishing Rod from Sandy. You will be rewarded with xx if you accepted Sandy’s request to catch a Marlin fish.
Day 6– Water or harvest the plants and talk to villages as they pass by
– Spend a few hours fishing or mining to get resources to sell/store.
