Emily in Paris Season 2 Episode 4 recap
The episode starts with Emily practicing what to say to Camille but Mindy is not convinced that Camille will forgive her. She also works herself way up in French level 2, moving on from the simple greetings of “hello”, “thank you” and “please.” She also straights herself with Gabriel by returning his omelet pan.
At work, Camille is with Emily and the rest of the team for the Champere meeting. Apparently, Camille decides that everyone should speak French since they are in France. Emily tries her best to speak advanced French for her presentation but fails to do so and Luc takes over.
After work, Emily finds Gabriel in front of his restaurant revamping and struggling to make decisions. But still, Gabriel initiates that he wants to help Emily how to make good food with leek, as it is Emily’s new client onboard for marketing. Her face still tells that she is still attracted to him and they had a cooking session. After that, Emily tells Gabriel that he should tell Camille that what happened between the two of them does not matter to fix them back up. So he did so.
Gabriel meets Camille and apologizes to her, saying that it is his fault, not Emily’s. And he says he still loves her. Camille is unconvinced and scoffingly says that he should grow up and walks away.
Focusing in learning advanced French, Emily writes off an apology letter written in French to Camille. It started right off but ends in a comically awkward message as Emily fumbles at her French grammar and words.
Camille writes of a French letter in response to Emily, which Sylvie reads to her since she could still not possible read it well. Her letter tells Emily how she could not understand her letter and calls her a sociopath.
At the end of the episode, Emily sits next to Alfie, an American gentleman and seems like a potential romance is on the way.
